Choose Ahrefs Brand Radar if
- You already have Ahrefs Lite or a bigger paid Ahrefs plan. Custom Prompts is stated as free from Lite and up, so getting started costs you nothing extra.
- You want one of the longest engine lists on this page, including Claude and AI Mode.
- You want to measure share of voice against many brands, alongside the link and keyword data you already use.
Choose Lykt if
- You don’t have Ahrefs and don’t want to buy another subscription to get started.
- You want the tool and the follow-up in Norwegian, and measurement in the markets your guests come from.
- You want three tasks a month for one place, not a brand picture for a portfolio.
What we measure differently
Three choices that make our numbers different.

A map, not a grade
We don’t give you one number to be judged on. You get an Authority map where each pillar reads “You’re mentioned”, “Shared answer” or “Not mentioned” per engine, and each cell points to a task. A map tells you where to go. A grade only tells you how it went. See the glossary (in Norwegian).

Market, not language
Our unit is the market, and the language is a property of the market. A guest in the Netherlands and a guest in Germany can get different answers to the same question, because the engine can read different sources in the two countries. That’s why we measure per market, and add the market you’re going for.

Tourism’s own questions
The questions we ask the engines are the ones guests actually ask: place, season, experience, guest and market. The source mix we read is the destination company, the booking sites and the profiles the guest meets along the way. How it works.

What does Brand Radar cost?
Ahrefs states Custom Prompts as “Starts at $50/mo” and at the same time as “Free for every paid Ahrefs Lite plan and above”, while AI Visibility Index starts at 199 USD/month. Lykt is standalone and starts at 990 NOK/month.
Who measures the most engines?
Ahrefs states AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity, ChatGPT, Copilot, AI Mode and Claude. Lykt measures five engines: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot. Basis measures three engines, Pro, Vekst and Program all five. More engines isn’t the same as more markets, and markets are what we build on.
Does Brand Radar measure per market?
Markets aren’t stated on their page, so we don’t state them. For us the market is the unit: you pick the markets, and extra markets cost 750 NOK/month per market.
